Overview
When you restored your computer or Mobilogy device to its default values, you have to install the software manually because the automatic updates will not work. This article provides the files for manual installation of the software for multiple devices. You can use these installers also when in a closed non-internet environment.
Information
Installer Pack
In this section, you will find the links to the installer for the Mobilogy software in two presentations: EXE and CPKG installers.
EXE installer
EXE version: Installing EXE files is the easiest method used to upgrade your Mobilogy software. These links point to the EXE files for regular Windows installations. For more information on how to install these packages, please refer to the Installing the Mobilogy Software KB article.
- Mobilogy Now - Desktop Generic (Windows EXE file)
- Mobilogy Now - Touch 2 Generic (Windows EXE file)
- Mobilogy Now - Universal (Windows EXE file)
Note: as the software is updated frequently, the version downloaded above might not be the latest release. If that is the case, the installer will notify you during the installation and prompt the automatic update to the latest version.
CPKG installer
CPKG (Campaign Pack) version: CPKG files are packages that can be used to upgrade your Mobilogy software in case the EXE files fail, I.E. due to Windows Installer restrictions by admin policies. To use this method, Mobilogy Now software must be already installed.
- For more information, please check the Manually Upgrading the Mobilogy Software Using CPKG Files (Campaign Packages) KB article.
Regardless of the installation method (auto-installation or manual installation), the packages install the same Mobilogy software. For example, the Mobilogy Touch 2 Generic EXE file installs the very same Mobilogy Touch 2 Generic CPKG version.
Utilities Pack
This is the last file that should be installed to accomplish the full installation of Mobilogy Now. The Utility Pack contains important software drivers that are necessary to complete certain transactions. Updates to the utility pack are less frequent than updates to the core software. Typically an update to a utility pack is published whenever there are important new device launches, such as a new iPhone or Samsung device.
In this section, you will find the links to the EXE installers for the Mobilogy software:
- Mobilogy Utility Pack for Desktop (Windows EXE file)
- Mobilogy Utility Pack for Touch2 (Windows EXE file)
After downloading the EXE files listed on this KB article, make sure you follow the Installing the Software guide to update your device's software to the latest version.
