Overview
At times, you may notice a significant traffic decrease in UltraBand GUI (Statistics > Interfaces). This article describes how to check if the reduction in the served traffic is caused by a PA Cache issue.
Process
To verify if it is actually a Cache issue, please follow the steps below.
- From UltraBand GUI, check if the traffic is being served:
- Navigate to Statistics > Downstream Bandwidth and check the Bandwidth graph.
If the Bandwidth graph does not show any traffic (as displayed in the image above), it means that the incoming traffic is not supported, and it is not being handled by the Cache server. It is not a PeerApp issue; it is a network issue that is most probably caused by a network change at the same time when the Cache stopped serving traffic. - Alternatively, you can navigate to Statistics > TCP Connections > Asymmetric Connections and check the traffic statistics under the Asymmetric Connections tab.
- Navigate to Statistics > Downstream Bandwidth and check the Bandwidth graph.
- Please reach out to your network administrator to investigate this issue; it is out of scope for PeerApp Support.
