Overview
From time to time, certificates expire and must be replaced. This task must be well-coordinated so there is no failure in the communication between ResponseTek and customers. This article will guide you when a certificate must be changed.
Information
It is a good practice to replace a certificate a while before it expires. If you want to inform ResponseTek about a change in your certificate or if you want to know about ResponseTek's certificate, please create a support ticket. The support team will engage the proper teams internally and will contact you.

The list of ResponseTek customers with the information related to the region and whether they are hosted by us or are on-premise can be found by following the steps in the Getting the List of ResponseTek Customers article.
If you receive a ticket for a certificate, you must check who is the owner of the certificate:
- ResponseTek: if it is our certificate the one that must be replaced, escalate the ticket to the SaaSOps team.
- Customer: if the certificate that must be replaced belongs to the customer, escalate the ticket to Level 2 for them to follow How to update an OnPrem SSL certificate.

Testing
The communication must keep working after the certificate is replaced.
