Overview
Importing files with invitations for end customers to answer surveys is a core functionality of ResponseTek. After sending a file to the SFTP, it is natural to want to know the result of this import. A result file is created on SFTP but this article shows another way of getting the result through the File Import Results report.
Prerequisites
A user allowed to access eManager.
Description
To access the File Import Results report, log in to eManager and open Reports > Supplementary Reports.
This will open the list of all supplementary reports:
Click on File Import Results in the Workflow Reports group.
These are the filters available for the report:
Once you fill in the criteria, click on Apply. The list with the results that match the criteria will appear:
Check in the File Name column the file you want the results for. When you find it, you can check how many invitations have not been imported on the Records Rejected column. If you want to get the details about the rejections, click on Export on the Export Details column. When you do this, an Excel file will be downloaded to your computer. Open it and you will see something like this:
In this report, the three last columns are the most important:
- Record number: which record has been rejected.
- Field number: which field has an issue.
- Failure cause: the reason why the field has been considered invalid.
