Overview
Some end customers may not want to answer surveys and ask to not receive more invitations, either by email or SMS. This is also called opt-out of surveys. Customers also may receive requests by other means and need an email or phone number to be blacklisted. This article explains how

Users who have opted out of receiving invitations will not get one anymore. Even if an invitation is sent to that number or email address, the sending engine will eliminate it from the list of invites to send.
If you need to add a customer to the blacklist, please create a support ticket and the support team will configure that.

Preventing a User from Receiving Invitations
If you want to add a single user to the list of blocked users, follow these steps:
- Log in to the CSS tool.
- Select Optout from the dropdown menu.
- Select the customer on the Enterprise field.
- Select the Invitation Type, either Email or SMS, that you need to add.
- Fill in the Email / Phone Number field with the way the end customer is invited to answer surveys.
Note: When adding phone numbers, make sure it is in the correct format (+[country code][area code][phone number]). - Click Add.
- Confirm the addition.
Preventing Multiple Users from Receiving Invitations
If you want to add multiple users at a time to the list of blocked users, follow these steps:
- Log in to the CSS tool.
- Select Bulk Optout from the dropdown menu.
- Select the customer on the Enterprise field.
- Select the Invitation Type, either Email or SMS, that you need to add.
- Fill in the Add Email / Phone Number field with all the emails or phone numbers you want to add at once, separated by commas.
Note: When adding phone numbers, make sure it is in the correct format (+[country code][area code][phone number]).
- Click Add.
- Confirm the addition.
