Overview
It is possible to have an extract of the data collected in CSV or Excel formats. Customers may use this data to feed other systems or make some data analysis. This article outlines the steps to obtain this file.
Information
In order to have the data exported, you need to create a support ticket. On this ticket, please include the following information:
- The solution (aka template) you want to get data for.
- If you want data from only one survey (aka collection) or all.
- The period you need to be extracted.
- The format you want (CSV or Excel). If you choose CSV, please specify also the delimiter (e.g. comma, semicolon, pipe).
The support team will generate the file and either attach it to the ticket or place it on the SFTP server. The latter may be the only available option if the file size exceeds the limit to be attached to the ticket.

These are the steps to perform the extraction:
- Log in to the Data Export Tool: https://eman-[environment].responsetek.com/cem_portal/v2_export/.
Note: If you need to find out the environment, check the customer list.

Fill in the details provided in the ticket for the export:

Click on either Export to Excel or Export to CSV.

Assign a meaningful name to the resulting file (e.g. DataExport-<Ticket#>.csv).

Confirm the file is not corrupted and can be opened in MS Excel on a local computer.

Attach the file to the ticket or upload the file to the SFTP customer folder.

Let the customer know the file has been uploaded.
