Problem
After the installation of patch 4.0.10.0 in our Test system(without any error), there is a GUI error when I click "device status" in CSR GUI.
Environment
Solaris 10
Oracle 10
JBoss 4.0.4 GA
Tomcat 5.5.25
Cause
The test-system was setup initially with SG4.0.7.0 GA, that part went ok, after that something went wrong. There was for some reason no ,INIT_SG_4_0_DATABASE entry in the sprt_install.dat file of the Jboss1+DB server, by that all the DB updates from 4.0.7.1 till 4.0.10 did not run.
Solution
I ran the DB update scripts manually after stopping the ACS and timer services.
The GUI works fine again. I also added a startup script (simlink) for the Tomcat service to /etc/init.d/ .
Further I deleted on both JBoss servers a double (misleading) sg4_cluster.x entry under:
A test with devices will be run tomorrow.
The system is with some minor problems updated until version SG4.1.1.0. And later on to SG4.1.3.
