Overview

We have a problem with one (at least) of our HW/FW combinations in the template filter evaluation. The problem prevents complete configuration to be send out.

Try to open the service VoIP in TDC realm an look at Specify conditions/ Show Template-Specific conditions for the template for the VoIP, DTMF in-band signaling template.

Test now filter with this device: 002691-Router-LK10063DP330306.

Result is True; which is the correct result taken capabilities in respect. HW/FW is 3DK04-01/5A3040-7AL046.
Now try to do same test under the template. Here you get a False result. Configuration is not send out.

Same you will see for the VoIP Enable Call Waiting template.

Same test with 00789E-Router-LK11327DP160049, HW/FW is 3DK04-01/5A3040-7AL046 is correct.

Resolution

• Test the behavior in OOTB SG4.1.1 and also in SG4.2.3.
  
  
• The mentioned sort problem in Capability associations also occur in SG4.2.3.
  
  
• The mentioned missing entries in the capabilities associations indeed showed up once for me but after a sort never could be replicated.
  
  
• Problem about the sorting in the capabilities HW/SW list will be solved in SG4.3, it seems the sort is based on the display string, the strings are only calculated when needed and so are not calculated for records that are off the screen.
  
  
• A workaround is to first scroll down the complete list before hitting sort. -The conditions filter test in templates and Services > Template is still under investigation.
