Overview
You noticed your SmartStation dashboard is not working, or that it disappears intermittently for you or other users.
In the logs, you might see the following errors:
WS5.LOG-<time> <EventThread> EventThread - Exception:
WS5.LOG:<time> <EventThread> System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to https://<servername>.oasisoncall.net/org.app/TELECARE.all.SasWcf.xxx-O11-xxxx/048.<username>-2b71ebc8981a4469a7c9e2eece3xxxxx. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Solution
Perform the following steps sequentially until the dashboard functions normally:
- Clear your temporary files as described here, and then reboot your computer.
- Try logging out of the application and then logging in again.
- Disable any antivirus or firewalls to test and make sure they not preventing the communication with our Data Center endpoints.
- If possible, try logging into another machine with your profile, and use another profile in your machine to check for issues.
If the issue persists, please open a Support ticket containing:
- Workstation logs, as explained in this article.
- Application and System logs, collected from the WIndows Events Logs as explained in this article.
