You are using PADirector and want to upgrade it to the latest version available. This article explains the process for the up-gradation of the PADirector.

Find out and download the latest version of PADirector that you need to upgrade to. You can contact PeerApp support for inquiries about the latest version available and the download links for it.

Following are the download links to the PAD version 4.2.4 (Latest version) that can be shared with the customers who want to download or upgrade their PADirector.

Login to https://support-ftp.peerapp.com/PAD/ with the same credentials to check if new releases are available and to download older or newer versions.

After you have the download ready, you can begin with the up-gradation process. The steps included in upgrading PADirector are as under;
- SSH to PAD server.
- Stop Director Service
systemctl stop director.service - Execute upgrade script.
sh -x Upgrade_PADirector_4.2.1b485-RELEASE-PA.sh
- Start Director Service.
systemctl start director.service - When you're ready for the process of upgrading your PAD, contact PeerApp support and share your maintenance window (MW) for up-gradation.
In case you have upgraded to the latest version and want to rollback your PAD to the previous version, follow these steps;
- SSH to PAD server.
- Stop Director Service.
systemctl stop director.service - Execute the existing version script.
sh -x Upgrade_PADirector_4.2.0b120-RELEASE-PA.sh
- Start Director Service.
systemctl start director.service
