Overview:
You observe the following batch sending errors when you add a new SMS Template, Distribution list or Batch job:
Cannot activate when having SNMP errors. Please resolve first.
SNMP error on BAT : Can't change Admin state to Inactive, since it's associated with active Batch job(s)
SNMP error on BAT : Admin state is not inactive
Solution
These errors occur when you try to add or change the SMS template, distribution list etc, while they are associated with an active job, which is not possible.
To resolve, please deactivate the job which has the concerned Template/ distribution list/ batch job associated with it, and then make the changes. In order to do this, you should first delete the template/list/job and then add a new one with the required changes, thus associating it with another job.
Note : As a general recommendation, if an SNMP error is encountered while creating a Job, it could be because of the configuration synchronization. Please wait for a while, or Go to Settings -> Network Layout -> Devices -> BAT. Right click on BAT and click "Resync". Once resynching is complete, you may observe that the errors are also resolved.
