Overview
You may notice that one of your connected applications has AO-MT traffic as seen via statistics, however, the application is not displayed at all via Linux prompts. You find that neither the tp_session nor the netstat command displays this application.
Information
- Please note that this may be simply because the application connects, submits messages, and then disconnects in bursts sessions.
- In such a situation, the application only binds towards the SMSC when it has some messages to send. It connects, sends all messages, and then disconnects again. This is the reason why one cannot see it continuously connected via Linux prompts.
