Overview
While using the NewNet Active Message Store (AMS) component, you want to use the tp_qcli
command to check the AMS retention queue. However, your AMS commercial server may store a large number of queues, and since the tp_qcli command is very resource intensive, you may be concerned that running this command for a large number of queues may result in processing timeout and processing delay of the server itself.
You thus wish to know the maximum number of queues that can be searched without interfering with normal functioning of the server.
Information
Please note that it is difficult to accurately predict the number of queues that can be searched using the tp_qcli
command without having any system impact. Each customer can have a different definition of a queue and its size, and its configuration will vary. Thus, it is not possible to make such an estimate, and there is no data to make a specific recommendation on the maximum number of queues that can be searched without impacting the server functioning.
