Overview
You are an Administrator for your Volt Delta installation and need to create a new FMB account for one of your Agents. You would like to know how to create a new FMB account for this user.
Prerequisites
- You are an Administrator of your Volt Delta installation
Solution
As described in Section 11 of the OASIS (11.5) Tenant Administration Guide the Management Portal is used to create new users.
- In the Management Portal navigate to User Management > User Profiles
- Click New in the User Profiles ribbon
- In the New User Profile pane enter the following:
- Username: Enter a username using the format Name@Domain where the 'Domain' is the domain assigned by the system administrator
NOTE: If you are using a Business Unit template you do not need to include the domain - Created From: Select the appropriate template for the required Business Unit
- Agent Role?: Indicate whether the user is an Agent or not
- First Name: Enter the user's first name
- Last Name: Enter the user's last name
NOTE: Append the Business Unit name to the last name if the user being created is an Administrator - Password: Enter a password for the user
- AMS User Role: Select 'None' for an Agent, 'Reporter' for reporting users, or 'Manager' for Administrators
NOTE: A user can have the Role of Agent and Management Portal User Role of Administrator - Click Save & Close to create the account
- Username: Enter a username using the format Name@Domain where the 'Domain' is the domain assigned by the system administrator
After following these steps the user will be able to log on to the FMB using the account and credentials entered. Administrative users will also need to be granted access to Observe Functions and Call Recording Playback as described in the guide.
