Overview
You have lost connection and you are unable to connect to the SQL database using the public IP address of the SQL Server. This connection is critical for your daily reporting.
Solution
If you lost connection and you are unable to connect to the SQL database for reporting purposes using the public IP address of the SQL Server, this might be due to infrastructure issues (eg: the server or database might be having a failure).
In such cases please contact our Support Team so they can involve the Infrastructure Team to have this checked and fixed.
Because our databases are configured using a mirroring setup, no data is lost even if one of the servers or databases fails. Once the Infrastructure Team confirms the issue, they will provide you with the connection details for the mirrored database.
Even if you already have the connection details to the mirror database, before trying to connect to it, please get confirmation first from our Infrastructure Team, otherwise, it might happen that you might not be able to connect to the mirror if it has not been put to the active state (made principal).

There are known cases when connectivity issue (to database Oasis_UMIS) was due to the principal (active) database being down and manual failover to the mirror database was needed.
Verify CRM database availability. If there are issues with the SQL Server or the database, escalate to SaaS Team as per the Routing Table.
If there are no issues with the database or the SQL Server, troubleshoot the connectivity issue with the customer.
