Transparent Internet Caching not working

Overview

You face an issue with your Transparent Internet Caching where it not working and the caching stops. 

Workflow

 

Instructions

Ask the user if there was a Power Stability Issue

If there was a power stability issue on the customer's end, 

Tell Customers to resolve the Power stability Issue on their end.

Restore the system

Restore the system and enable the cache. Use the instructions that can be found in the article Rebooting the Cache Service to restore the system.

Check the logs for ISCSI errors

Check the system logs to determine if there are issues with the ISCSI connections that got the system hanged.

Check if there is a problem with the storage battery

If the ISCSI connections are having issues, find out if there is a problem with the storage battery and whether it is asking for a replacement. Report the issue to the customer.
